I recently had an eye test at a main, well advertised, high street opticians.
However, it was not a good experience as I left the shop having no confidence in the eye test and more importantly, the lack of help and advice from the dispensing chemist, on the suitability of frames for the required bifocal lenses. It was overall a very poor service.

I decide to visit Optical People and what a different in customer service !!!

I met with Ravi and after listening to my story, he suggested a retest on my eyes, free of cost.
He fully understood my needs for bifocal lenses with intermediate and distant viewing fields, they were driving glasses being able to read my Sat Nav.
I was most impressed with the latest, digital test equipment that Optical People use.

The previous eye test prescription from the "other" opticians would not have met my needs.

I then met with Laura who helped and advised me on suitable frames for me. She was very patient, friendly, professional and did not rush me. She did not try "upsell" any products, just good advice !

I must add that the two pairs of glasses that I chose, were like for like, less expensive than the "other" opticians.

All the staff I met were all polite and friendly, it is a long time since I have received this level of customer service. The layout and décor of the shop, I also found was warm and welcoming.

From start to finish, this is by far the best "optical shopping experience" that I have ever had.

My wife will soon need her yearly eye test and this is the shop that she will be going to, I would not hesitate to recommend Optical People.
