Amazed to read your review Jan. Personally I've never had a bad pint in there, plus the staff are always super friendly. Must have caught 'em on a bad day, shame.

Went in for a drink after finding out my train was delayed for 40 mins; I was utter delighted to find a vast assorted range of real ales and ciders, it was hard to pick one but went for a traditional dark ale which I know well, it was well up to the standard. I found the pub to be, friendly, great value, great real ales, with a superb landlord. well worth the visit... I'i be back again !

I was not impressed with their customer service, the pint received did not clear on standing and when brought to the attention of the barmaid I was refused a replacement, whatever happened to the customer is always right. Avoid this pub if you value your stomach
