Awful company, please avoid and save your money. Nuneaton branch refused to refund 2 for 1 glasses after prescription wasn’t right. Alarmingly, they falsified information to avoid full refund. When trying to disprove them they refused to provide my personal data records unless I paid an extra £50. Having lied to avoid a refund, they insisted on a re-test and concluded my eyes were too sensitive. New glasses were no better and only a fraction stronger than my old ones which begged the question ‘did I need a new prescription at all?’ Director Ravi Saigal was constantly unavailable and unhelpful in his emails. There were delay tactics, lost emails, promise of call backs that never happened from branch manager Bakchau. This continued for 12 months. Eventually received a disappointing 50% refund which I pursued myself as the Ombudsman were just as useless. AVOID!

I highly recommend the staff at this store. I had my designer glasses a few months ago. Then the dog decided to chew one set of frames. They replaced the frame and fitted my lenses free of charge in a matter of minutes.
That is customer service that you wouldn't get anywhere else.

Amazing. Really impressed. Service is second to none. My friend recommended me to Optical People and so I decided to give them a try. I was expecting them to be really expensive, but it turns out that they are actually much cheaper than the place I've been going to for years. The glasses I picked have been complimented on everywhere I go!

Wow! Such an amazing experience! Eye test was really advanced...much more than where I went to last. I was totally spoilt for choice and ended up buying 3 pairs of Kurt Geiger frames for £120 - talk about good value. I told Felicity that I was desperate for them and she actually got them made in 25 minutes! I usually wait a week for them to be made. She told me they manufacture glasses on site, something I'm so happy about. Will definitely be back and I've recommended Optical People to my whole family.

What a great company I made an enquiry today at 10:45 regarding my fathers glass prescription . I asked if they could make a pair of glasses for him as he had broke his over the weekend .I picked the frames paid for them gave them my phone number and left . at 12:00 I received a call from them to tell me the glasses where ready . what a fantastic service

I recently had an eye test at a main, well advertised, high street opticians.
However, it was not a good experience as I left the shop having no confidence in the eye test and more importantly, the lack of help and advice from the dispensing chemist, on the suitability of frames for the required bifocal lenses. It was overall a very poor service.
I decide to visit Optical People and what a different in customer service !!!
I met with Ravi and after listening to my story, he suggested a retest on my eyes, free of cost.
He fully understood my needs for bifocal lenses with intermediate and distant viewing fields, they were driving glasses being able to read my Sat Nav.
I was most impressed with the latest, digital test equipment that Optical People use.
The previous eye test prescription from the "other" opticians would not have met my needs.
I then met with Laura who helped and advised me on suitable frames for me. She was very patient, friendly, professional and did not rush me. She did not try "upsell" any products, just good advice !
I must add that the two pairs of glasses that I chose, were like for like, less expensive than the "other" opticians.
All the staff I met were all polite and friendly, it is a long time since I have received this level of customer service. The layout and décor of the shop, I also found was warm and welcoming.
From start to finish, this is by far the best "optical shopping experience" that I have ever had.
My wife will soon need her yearly eye test and this is the shop that she will be going to, I would not hesitate to recommend Optical People.

Such a wonderful place compared to other high street opticians! My kids loved playing on the arcade machines while I was spoilt for choice picking glasses. The staff were so attentive and friendly, really enjoyed our family visit to what my kids are now calling "the fun cool opticians"! So thrilled with my amazing glasses and can't recommend enough- thanks!!

Really wonderful to have such a unique place like this in Nuneaton! Been checking over a few weeks to see when it would open and then a few days ago I spoke to the owners there who were really helpful. Got my eye test booked in for November, looking forward to it as it's time something different came along!
